Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail tells you something. It suggests the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is solid.
Platforms
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is available for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently in the works. That will round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for beginners.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The speed is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
